Bayani is mildly confused, and according to his wife, he is normally fully oriented. His abdomen is soft and non-distended, and his wife states he has been urinating and drinking more water than usual. Application of Course Knowledge: Answer all questions/criteria with explanations and detail.  Discuss the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms of your assigned disease process. Which clinical manifestations observed in Bayani’s case could be explained by the pathophysiological mechanisms?  Analyze Bayani’s clinical manifestations in the context of your assigned disease process. Do these findings support a diagnosis of your assigned disease process?
