They may require long-term care, lifestyle adjustments, and support. o Domestic Violence: Acts of violence or abuse within a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. Domestic violence can be physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual and deeply affects the safety and well-being of family members. • Population Health Problems o Homelessness: The state of having no stable housing. Homeless populations face numerous health risks, including exposure to the elements, malnutrition, and limited access to healthcare. o Mental Health Crises: Situations where individuals experience severe disturbances in their emotional or psychological well-being. These crises can include suicidal ideation, severe anxiety, or psychotic episodes. Addressing these crises requires timely interventions and community support. These health problems are significant challenges for healthcare providers and public health experts.
