Writing prescription medications is something you will be doing day after day, patient after patient. There are special considerations depending on the DEA schedule of controlled medication you are writing. This Assignment will start preparing you for this task and understanding. Note: Written prescriptions for pharmacies may differ from chart orders for hospitalizations. For this Assignment, you are writing outpatient prescriptions for pharmacies. Create prescriptions using the patient information, medications, and indications listed below. Your goal is to demonstrate the accurate way to write a prescription that a patient would present to a pharmacy. The prescription should be written and signed. You will develop your mock prescriptions in a word document to include everything one might find on a printed prescription pad. You will write one prescription per page.
